Varicose Veins Laser Treatment (EVLT)
Varicose veins laser treatment – Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) is a non surgical alternative treatment to surgical stripping for varicose veins. Treating varicose veins using laser treatment (EVLT) is a simple out patients procedure that typically takes less than one hour to perform and allows for rapid recovery.
Varicose veins laser treatment (EVLT) is performed by Mr Rajiv Vohra FRCSEd FRCSEng Phd, Consultant Vascular Surgeon who is based at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham.
At your first appointment you will have a detailed consultation with Mr Vohra and a doppler ultrasound scan to determine your suitability for treatment of your varicose veins by laser.
We welcome self fund patients and we are recognised by private health insurance companies (individual’s level of cover does vary, please check with your provider).
Please note that you do not need a GP referral. We have a dedicated team of support staff at HealthHarmonie ready to help you.
