3D/ 4D Scan

3D / 4D scans use the very latest in ultrasound technology to produce 3D and 4D images of your baby, in real time. These are saved to a CD to produce a unique keepsake for you to enjoy for years to come.

The scan is in two parts, using ultrasound, the specialist checks the growth and wellbeing of the baby and that everything is progressing well with the pregnancy. The second part of the scan gives you a unique opportunity to see your unborn baby moving in the womb in 3D and 4D real time moving images.

It is best to come between the 24th to 32nd weeks of pregnancy, 26-28 weeks being ideal, as baby is more developed. Twins need to come at 21-23 weeks (we do not charge per twin). All scans include thermal images, and we can tell you the sex baby if you would like to know.

We pride ourselves on providing a service that is welcoming and as relaxed as possible for you.

You will receive

  • a CD and black and white (thermal) pictures of your baby a
  • written report.

We will also ask if you would like a copy of the report sent to your GP and will liaise with the NHS hospital whose care you are under where necessary.

Sometimes babies lie in a difficult position for the sonographer to get pictures of your baby’s face, if this happens you can return for one 15 minute re-scan for 3D / 4D images at no additional cost or you will be asked if you would like a refund of £25 and you will only be charged for the wellbeing part of the scan

Please note that you do not need a GP referral.

We have a dedicated team of specialists and support staff waiting to help you.
