
Mr Arri Coomarasamy is a Consultant Gynaecologist, an Accredited Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery (Fertility) and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. He obtained advanced fertility training at the internationally reputed Assisted Conception Unit at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospitals in London. Mr Coomarasamy’s special expertise include fertility investigations, IVF, miscarriage investigations and treatment, fibroid surgery and keyhole surgery for infertility. He is a consultant at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital.
Mr Coomarasamy has published over 70 research articles in top international medical journals, has written several medical book chapters and is the author of a gynaecology book which is used throughout the world by doctors specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. He is also a scientific editor of the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He holds over £3 million in research grants, and runs an active research programme, particularly in the fields of IVF and miscarriage, enabling him to bring the most up-to-date and cutting edge care for infertile couples and couples with recurring miscarriages. |
