Before starting a pregnancy you may wish to have a consultation with a specialist in Maternal & Fetal Medicine to discuss how you can improve your health.

The consultation includes:

• Full medical history
• A discussion on any improvements in lifestyle or diet that may be required

Further tests may be recommended by your consultant. These tests can be performed at HealthHarmonie or some or all of these tests may be available via your GP or covered by private medical insurance (individual’s levels of cover does vary, please check with your provider).

You will receive a written report following your consultation and a further report when the results of any blood tests are received. We can arrange a follow up consultation with your consultant to discuss these.

Please note that you do not need a GP referral. We have a dedicated team of support staff ready to help you.
